Eddie Higgins
Edward Haydn Higgins is a jazz pianist born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on February 21, 1932. He initially studied privately with his mother and then at University. After this he did work in Chicago clubs and later worked at the London House there. After that he led several small bands.

In 1966 he was a founder of Dunwhich Records and he has also had success with Japan's Venus Records label.

He is most known as a soloist. However he has played with Coleman Hawkins, Freddie Hubbard, and others.
